Blog 1: 9.15.07. Less sleep=more time to make stuff

For those of us who never sleep, or do it poorly, I offer this: Sleeplessness should not impact creativity! In fact, it empowers us with more time. So by way of introduction, I post my first blog with a design that came from a restless night. Brick stitch is so cool, and rubber O rings make for a real industech style. Let me know if you want more instruction.

  12. Cute idea! If you used sterling silver to attach your beads, you could use Liver of sulphar to patina the wire black to match the o ring. Great job!

  26. What a great design.

I did use your design as a base for a pair of earrings which turned out beautifully, just not as perfect as your pendant. Maybe it was the bead sizing but it was hard to get it to fit as snug.

Just wanted to thank you for the inspiration.

If you could, send me your instructions.

    Thanks Again!!

  39. Thank you for sharing this! Would you please send me instructions too. Our church has an afterschool center for kids (K thru 12)in the community and I have been trying to come up with new and fresh things for them to do - within budget! We are a rural community and there isn't much else for them besides the park and a creek that runs thru town in the summer that they float and swim in. Been looking for things that would appeal to all ages and boys and girls. This would be so perfect! Thank you !!! LJ
